Dr. Xuting Huang is Managing IP Counsel at ZF Group for portfolios including electrification, driveline sensors, data monetization as well as autonomous driving functions. He is active in the field of intellectual property since 2013 and was previously associated with renowned law firms in Stuttgart, Beijing and Shenzhen, where he handled patent prosecution and litigation cases for large-scale and mid-size companies. He has obtained his university degree at TU Munich, followed by Ph.D. degree at the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart (supervisor: Prof. Klaus von Klitzing, Nobelprize for Physics 1985), both in semiconductor electronics. He is one of the very few (<5) patent attorneys worldwide who are triply qualified as German, European and Chinese Patent Attorney. His technical expertise includes electronics, semiconductors, telecommunications, optics, medical technologies, sensors and software. With his diverse technical and legal background, Dr. Huang is frequently invited to speak or moderate at international IP conferences in Europe and Asia. Xuting Huang is author to several scientific and legal publications. His last legal article has appeared in the top German journal for IP, GRUR Int. (2019, Heft 10). Dr. Huang has also taken the role of committee member in the Shenzhen Innovation Contest in 2017. His working languages include German, English, French and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese).
