Marco is working in the Intellectual Property Unit of Enel Group, a multinational leading company in the energy sector, and here below are listed the main activities in which He is involved: - Identification and economic valuations of Enel’s intellectual property rights across the business lines in order to develop the strategy to maximize revenues and reduce overall cost of intellectual property rights. - Collaboration to the definition of Enel Group intellectual property strategy in line with global business strategy and management of intellectual property rights portfolio. - Supporting individual inventors and the business lines to define the most appropriate intellectual property rights to protect their innovative projects. - Assessment with legal function of third parties’ intellectual property rights in case of partnership development. - Risk assessment with legal function to avoid violations by/towards third parties. Before joining the Enel Group, Marco has worked for five years for SIB – Società Italiana Brevetti S.p.A., an intellectual property firm specialising in the protection and enforcement of patents, trademarks, utility models, designs, trade secrets and copyrights. I am an Italian and European Trademark and Design Attorney before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) and before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). He also has a relevant experience in domain names registrations and recovering domain names registered by third parties through negotiations or Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedures.
